Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo, an American author and actress. Her career began on the daytime soap operas One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later years had several secondary roles in primetime television. Andrea Navedo, an American singer and actress who was born on the streets of The Bronx New York United States 10th October 1977. Navedo started her acting career in an afternoon soap. Navedo was in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live as Linda Soto from 1995 to 1997. She was cast in Guiding Light, the CBS soap Guiding Light, as Theresa Sandoval during 1999- 2000. She made her film debut with a small role as a character in Girl 6 (1996) then starred in episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo appeared in Double Take, an action-comedy film, in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the following year. From 2001 to 2004 Navedo played a regular role on the NBC Crime series Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. The character was later featured in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods and Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo was also in a variety of other films, such as El Cantante or Remember Me. Navedo had recurring roles in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy as well as How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 to 2013. Superfast! She was a part of the comedy. the parody of The Fast and the Furious film series released in 2015. Navedo's career in the field started in soap operas for daytime viewers. From 1995 through 1997, she portrayed the character Linda Soto in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. Then, in 1999, she starred as Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. Her debut film role came in the form of a minor character on Girl 6 (1996). In the following years, she was a guest star on seasons of New York Undercover, The District and The District. In 2001 Navedo was a co-star in the action-comedy film Double Take.
